after so many months of hard work... we finally did it.... GOLD WITH HONOURS leh!!! ahahahaha... so proud of us... so proud to be part of nyco....
after the whole competition... memories just came flooding back.... the times when we first received the xing kong pu... thinking that it's super easy and realising that it's not all that easy after all.... the times when we thought fang pai was going to be our choice piece... and we were frantically trying to memorize it.... the times when feng nian ji replaced fang pai as our choice piece... then mr lee kept frightening us by saying that there are abt 8 schools playing this song... and we can only get silver at the most.... the times when mr lee kept telling us how the other schools have memorized and started recording the song when we just started lianing feng nian ji.... the times when we told mrs ee the immense number of schools playing the song... and mrs ee telling us that she is confident that we can do it... the times when the seniors started praising the section... saying that we had really improved alot.... the times when we had immense amount of prep talk... trying to make every junior devote their time and energy on co... the times when i forced the juniors to do taifeng... the timed when we had to perfect every one's yin zhun... the times when mrs ee told us directly that we are deproving[if there's such a word].... the times when we had our audi prac... the time when we were all on the bus heading towards sch.... worrying if we will get there on time... at the same time... i kept crapping to ziyi everytime we passed by a land mark...
then... it was the moment on stage... the moment when ms chek showed us a thumbs up after xing kong and we all grinned [it must be really weird... the entire CO smiling together at once] the moment after we got off the stage and started asking each other if we did well... the moment when the person announced our results... CHINESE ORCHESTRA NUMBER 25 NANYANG GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL GOLD.... WITH HOUNOURS... the moment when we all stood up and screamed... the moment when we cheered shan ge in SCH.... the moment when we all cried and started hugging each other.... the moment when mrs ee jiang chuan and xiaole talked to us [actually... xiaole was crying rather than talking]... the moments when we rushed down to SCH to listen to other COs to see if can be the top 3 schools... the moment when we realised that we are the top three schools selected to perform at the singapore arts [or is it youth] festival opening ceremony..... the moment we cheered outside the concert hall to cheer [and compete with HCI]... all these moments shall go down in history... the history which we shall always remember.... the nyco history....
