woohoo! i'm back! and perak was funnnn with the great company, activities and all the games we played there!
so, for the first day, we had the wet activities, caving and rafting. caving was.... painful. even though i should have an easier time crawling in those caves than most of the people in our group, due to my 'advantage' in height, for some reason on another, i still kept knocking into the walls of the caves. -.- and i was super proud of my $2 torchlight! it didn't die even when i submerged it in the water!
then we had rafting, which was probably the best activity we had. anyway, perry yijia yanlong khang chiang yumin and i got praised for having great team spirit lor! *prouds* but somehow while others flew out of the raft, i kept falling into our raft itself and i still cannot figure out why. and yumin's toe nail got ripped out when we were rafting! i was probably one of the main culprits, with all my fallings into the raft.... sorry yoomin!
on the second day, we went trekking up this hill to look at one flower. the trekking was okay lurh, but actually, i wasn't really paying much attention to the rafflesia that we went all the way up there for, or the scenery around us. i was too busy checking out for leeches lah! honestly, i think i spent 80% of my time up there staring at my shoes. after that, we went to this church which we were supposed to clean up. so, we did the usual stuff, washing the windows, the floor, the chairs, etc etc. then while we were waiting for the floor to dry, the guys decided to entertain themselves and us by playing soccer with a scrub as the ball, and pails as the goal post. with all the slippings and fallings, it was simply hilarious.
after that, while most of the other people went swimming/playing at the rapids. some of us went to interact with the kids at the village and attempted to teach them how to draw. haha, they were super cute lurh. cos due to the language barrier we had with the kids, we decided to get them started to draw by demostrating to them first. then, to our horror, they started copying what ming drew to the very last detail, even the number of spots on the cow! and everytime we wanted to look at the drawings, they will snatch the paper away and go to some other corner to continue drawing again. super funny!
on the second night, the group of us [yanlong perry yijia nigel minkai jeremy yeow lin yumin shu aiwen and i] spent the entire night just playing fun games like murderer, ouch and the 'di di di' game. will never forget those 'bing bing' and 'i am going to hai someone but in the end hai myself' moments lurh! oh yeah, and the next morning was the only time when we didn't have to eat leftover breakfast, cos we were there before the breakfast came!
and thoughout the trip, our main mean of transportation was this lorry where we all had to squeeze and stand at the back, so we had to get ready and duck everytime there's some overhanging branches we had to go under. once again, i saw the reason why we all SHOULD be short. haha!
i guess i will never forget this trip. not that easily anyway!

the op was okay lurh, at least it wasn't disastrous and i&r is all done.. so, the first thing i'm going to do tmr is throw away all the scripts and surveys and report drafts. no more pw! muahahhahaha!
and weiteng said she going to get to the school before 10 am to hand in i&r tmr. because she wants to reach the school before it gets to hot to walk under the sun.
